📅 March 22, 2026 | 8 AM – 5 PM | Otter Creek Shooting Complex – Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Athletes will shoot 100 rounds at this ATA-sanctioned regional event. Intermediate Entry, Rookie, and first-year shooters will not participate in this match; however, it’s a great opportunity for them to attend, observe, and learn from more experienced athletes as they compete early in the season.

🦅 2026 North Mahaska Match 

📅 April 4, 2026 | 8 AM – 5 PM | Izaak Walton League Ottumwa  – Ottumwa, Iowa

This away match is open to Intermediate, JV, and Varsity athletes only — rookies will not participate in this event, however we would love to see them there. It’s an excellent opportunity for returning athletes to gain early-season experience and sharpen their skills before the larger championships.

🐈‍⬛  2026 Knoxville Match

📅 April 11, 2026 | 8 AM – 5 PM | Marion County Sportsman Club – Knoxville, Iowa

All athletes will participate in this multi-school match. It’s a great opportunity to gain competition experience, connect with other teams, and prepare for the upcoming duals and championship events.

🦖  2026 Dino Meet (Ankeny Izaak Walton Match)

📅 April 18, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Ankeny Izaak Walton League – Ankeny, Iowa

This match, commonly known as the Dino Meet, will primarily be shot on Ranges 1 and 2, with one squad assigned to Range 4. It’s a great short-format competition for athletes to gain experience and stay sharp during the season.

⚔️  2026 Grinnell vs. Marshalltown Dual Match  

📅 April 25, 2026 |Time – To Be Announced | Bear Creek PCSA – Malcom, Iowa 

• Athletes will shoot at least 50 targets at the 16-yard line.

• Additional disciplines (Handicap and/or Doubles) may be offered as well, depending on participation and logistics.

Athletes may attend individually if interested. This event provides a great opportunity for additional competition and experience ahead of the state and national championships. This is NOT provided by the club.

Join us for our annual home match as the Grinnell Sure Shots compete on familiar ground. It’s a great day to showcase skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship!

⚔️  2026 Grinnell vs. Amana Dual Set
📅 May 30, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Marshalltown Gun Club – 1631 Reed Ave, Marshalltown, IA 50158

This dual set will be held between Grinnell and Amana.

• All athletes will shoot 16s (100 Rounds).

• Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Intermediate Advanced athletes will shoot all three disciplines (16s, Handicap, and Doubles) if they choose to participate in Doubles and are willing to pay for the required ammunition.

🏆  2026 Iowa State Trap Championship

The Grinnell Sure Shots will compete at the Iowa State Trap Championship — one of the biggest youth shooting events of the year!

🏆 2026 SCTP National Championship

📅 July 11 – 19, 2026 | Cardinal Shooting Center – Marengo, Ohio

Athletes interested in attending the SCTP National Championship may do so individually. This national event welcomes top youth shooters from across the country for a full week of competition and experience.
